Comic Art

At the intersection between sculpture and comics.

The artist’s predilection for the 9th art, a genre deeply rooted in Argentinian culture, impregnated his imagination bit by bit until the spirit of comic books crept into his work.

A work in volume that is visually close to the comic book universe, built from little evocative details that make up the aesthetics of the characters depicted. The expressive faces and bodies of these unique figures come to life, to enter into a dialogue with the viewer, in a playful complicity.

Forchino depicts the human comedy with a tone of humour and irony.
